Teaching & Community Development

Our programs focus on Early Childhood and Children’s Rights issues in Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, Moshi (Kilimanjaro) in Tanzania and in Kenya.
Volunteers who are passionate about teaching and want to help increase access to education in under-resourced communities in Zanzibar. You will be volunteering with the support of our local team and placement staff, you don’t need to be a qualified teacher to participate on this project.
We focus on to help educational tasks in nursery, primary and secondary schools in Zanzibar as well as adult vocational training. The schools we volunteer in are mostly poor village schools. Interns and volunteers help to develop the primary education and also conduct advocacy work.
Our Educational program is the foundation of everything we do. With full support and training from our experienced project team, you will help us improve the level of English in this friendly community.
