International Volunteers has a wide range of incredible and affordable volunteering opportunities for high school students and graduates who are keen to travel abroad and make a difference while learning through their experiences.

We also run Residential International Award Programs as well as CAS trips for International Schools.

Creativity, Activity, Service enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development as well as their social and civic development, through experiential and service learning and a personal journey of self-discovery that recognizes each student’s individual strengths, talents, and purpose.

Creativity – Exploring and extending ideas leading to an original or interpretive product or performance.

Activity – Physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle.

Service – Collaborative and reciprocal engagement with the community in response to an authentic need.

PROGRAM TYPES

Once you’ve decided that you want to spend your break from fancy school trips and do volunteering, there are a few more things to consider. You’ll want to decide what kind of program you are most comfortable with, how many hours of volunteering you plan on accruing and what projects you are interested in participating in. There are plenty of options for volunteering abroad in your teens!

High School Group service volunteering program is by far the most common type of program rather than Individual Programs.

THE BENEFITS

Instant Friends
Whether you’re on the trip for 10 days or 2 months, you’re going to want to have people to share this experience with. By joining our trip, you have a built-in group of friends who you will bond with quickly as you take in the foreign lands. In many cases, these fast acquaintances become long-time friends.

24/7 Support
To comfort our volunteers, we have 24-hour assistance while their traveling and volunteering. We assign at least two coordinators to the group. Depending the size of the group.

Pre-Arranged Trips
While you are traveling primarily to volunteer, you want to see the country too! We organize trips to tourist spots, some of which could be difficult to do on your own. Hiking to waterfalls, swimming in pristine oceans, even an African safari.

Carefree Logistics
A portion of the fees you pay go toward arranging the logistics of the trip – meaning you don’t have to! From airport transport and buses in-country to translators and local support staff, they’ve got you covered. No need to stress!

Experienced, Reliable and Fun Leaders
We have trained professional leaders who are flexible to deal with the unknown. They also act as mediators among the group and mentors and listeners to you as you reflect on your experience. Plus, they are there to have fun!
